Write for us
Radiant News Compass welcomes pitches that help readers notice light and colour more clearly. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to understand the question, the reader and the shape of the piece.
What we welcome
We are interested in clear explainers, careful comparisons, visual history, common misconceptions and small observation exercises. A strong idea has a defined subject and gives readers something specific to understand or notice without needing specialised equipment or risky experiments.
A useful pitch
Tell us the working title, the central idea and the main point a reader should take away. Include a short outline, the intended category and any relevant experience or sources you would draw on. Please flag uncertainties, image needs and any potential conflict of interest.
Before sending
We look for original proposals in a natural, precise voice. Avoid claims that depend on unverified testing, sweeping promises or advice that needs professional assessment. A pitch is a proposal, not a commission; please wait for a reply before sending a full draft.
Where to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a way for us to reply in the form. We do not accept proposals sent through an unlisted address or promise a response time.
Looking closely changes the picture
Light is not just brightness, and colour is not just a swatch. We like small experiments that help you notice what changes when the angle, surroundings or time of day changes.
